Agena Marin Ltd for ship building and tourist agency activities has been founded on the 1st of October 2010 by Mladen Peharda. After several years of successful business with semi submarines in the Agena agency, it was decided that further business development will be taken over by Agena Marin Ltd.

The company’s mission is to become the leader in designing and implementation innovative touristic products, one of which is the semi-submarine.

By 2019. fifty semi-submarines have been launched all over the world, in countries such as Bonaire, Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Maldives, Mexico, Montenegro, Saint Martin, Seychelles and Spain.

The goal was to develop a vessel for adventure excursions based on safety and an unique approach, for the entire family to enjoy. The vessel would has extraordinary maritime capacity, low effect on the environment and original design.

One of the company’s main goals is, along with vessel building, to develop a way for it to be profitable exploited i.e. to help the buyer implement the entire business model not only deliver the product. The result of this approach is the semi submarine, the most profitable tourist product which numerous summer's in a row enriched the offer in the following Croatian destinations: Biograd, Sv.Filip i Jakov, Krk, Baška Voda, Pag.
. It is also actively present in countries around the world like Bonaire, France, Greece, Italy, Maldives, Mexico, Montenegro, Saint Martin, Seychelles and Spain.

By doing this we are giving our buyers complete know how in terms of: help in choosing locations, route design, help in writing business plans as well as crew training (both skippers and bookers). It is important to emphasize that these services are included in the price. The semi-submarine which can board 12 people enables minimum risk investment by simple maintenance and management thus employing less staff members. Putting semi-submarines into operation on new locations is pretty straightforward and fast.

Taking into consideration that excursions can be organized throughout the day, as well as in the evening and that an average excursion takes about an hour, we come to the conclusion that the semi-submarine’s capacity amounts up to 150 passengers daily (high return on investment).

Semi submarine has the biggest ratio in glass surface per person in the world – more than 5m2 in impenetrable glass wall.

It is the only vessel in its class where all passengers sit below sea level and have a feeling of true dive, as well as the only in the class for less than 30 passengers to really resemble a submarine, rather than a raft with an underwater cabin.

It is made of fiberglass and easy to transport in containers all over the world. (It is 9.95 m long, 2.5 m wide and has a beam of 1.3m).
Semi submarine is the ideal opportunity for adventure excursions for people of all age groups and therefore an unique business opportunity.
