AUTUMN ACTIVITIES 2021

With a successful end of 2021, we are bringing you an overview of Navela's sales and promotional activities.

At the beginning of September we visited Cannes Yachting Festival and we are bringing to you interesting news. We are proud to announce how Elan Yachts is launching a new model for their performance line, the E6, and how the boat will be powered by a Yanmar engine supplied by Navela. The boat will first be presented at boot Dusseldorf in January 2022. Our year long collaboration with Elan is a path of mutual success and satisfaction and we are looking forward to more years of collaboration. Moreover, we visited Greenline, a Slovenian shipyard combining sustainability and leisure boating, powered by Yanmar engines in the range of 320 to 440 HP.

From the 24th to the 26th of September we exhibited on Rijeka Boat Show. We exhibited a few engine lines: the 4JH57CR, 4LV195 and 8LV370, a selection of high quality boating equipment Plastimo and Yanmar service kits and control systems. From the 20th to the 24th of October we exhibited on Biograd Boat Show and hereby we want to thank once again our partners and clients for their visit and support. Present were also Adriana Boats, with their model Adriana 44 powered by a dual installation of 4LV250 engines, Nerezine 630 Open powered by 4JH110CR, Mirakul 40, powered by an extremely powerful dual installation of 8LV320 with the ZT370 and a beautiful sailing boat, the D&D model 50, powered by a Yanmar engine 4JH80CR.

From the 16th to the 18th of November we were attending METSTRADE, the biggest B2B of the nautical industry located in Amsterdam. A special mention deserves Plastimo for their lifejacket SLR196 nomination for the DAME Design Awards, Yanmar's control systems and panels and the new, beautifully designed Goiot Systems deck equipment.

Every autumn we at Navela are hosting technical training for both charter mechanics and our service network. In 2020 our training was online, was this year we divided attendees into smaller groups. Upon arrival, the attendees can register at our receptionist the humanoid Pepper robot. During our training we first covered the technical news and updates from a theory point of view. We included an overview of digital communication channels and provided our attendees with a tutorial how to use the latter. After the theoretical part, we provided a practical overview in our service zone and ended the training with two days of on-field work in Trogir, where we worked on how to optimize maintenance. Attendees have the chance to learn both in theory and practice, try things on their own and to increase their knowledge and expertise with the end goal of making the customer more satisfied and giving a complete solution. Last but not least, we followed the nautical adventure of our Ivica Kostelic on his transocean regatta Transat Jacques Vabre. Since 2019 we have been supporting Ivica Kostelic and what started as the Adriatic Race in April 2019, ended a few days ago with a great end result on the regata Transat Jacques Vabre. We are proud we can be part of this project and are excited for another season of regattas in 2022. Congratulations Ivica!
