Technical training for Yanmar service network

In Navela's new bussines centre it was quite busy these days.  The service and distribution network had its technical training, regarding the new Yanmar 4LV series, whose first three engines of 150, 170 and 195hp were presented on Cannes Boat Show 2017 and the biggest of 225 and 250hp on Düsseldorf  Boat Show 2018. In Croatia the first engines were introduced at Biograd Boat Show 2017 and Zagreb Boat Show 2018. Following the introduction of new engines, Croatian, Slovenian and service network from Montenegro had their technical training. The 4LV series is a common rail diesel engine series updated with new technological features, of which the service network had to be informed for the ideal maintenance and function. The engines are characterized with great power and torque, high speed, low fuel consumption and extremely quiet work. The clean exhaust has overgrown the strict EPA Tier 3 and EU RCD 2 standards. The engines were made for sailboats longer then 50 ft, tenders on superyachts, smaller motorboats and light duty commercial vessels.

The training was led by Rene Bersee, a licensed service trainer from Yanmar Marine International with its headquarters in Almere (The Netherlands), followed by 20 participants. Participants were divided into two groups whose training lasted for two days. The engine examples were two engines from the 4LV series. The first was used for familiarising with diagnostic tools and oscilloscope, while the other for composition and analysis. The theoretical part of the training and knowledge acqusition were held in the presentation hall.

As a finale, Yanmar and Navela experts had their evaluation of the excellence and success of the technical training.
