The More 40 is a sports sailboat, elegant and with excellent prerequisites for cruising and contests, designed so as to be competitive at ORC & IRC premieres. It has been built with a system of vacuum infusion vinyl ester which guarantees it quality, sturdiness, lower weight and superb navigability. At the same time, it has been designed so that in the cockpit and on the deck and in the below deck area there is enough ergonomic space for a comfortable multi-day stay of six or eight people. The experienced production team has placed a number of interesting solutions on the sailboat, from additional metal fastenings to the hull and keel, to the multipurpose table in the saloon and a very large storage space in the cockpit or under the deck of the stressed halyards and sheet of the main sail. Although it has sports appearance, the More 40 is quite a spacious sailboat on the inside. The saloon and large kitchen occupy the central part of the vessel. The front and rear cabins are large and bright and the three-cabin version has two toilet rooms so it will be suitable for chartering. Tests have shown that it sails very well in all conditions, and powered by a Yanmar engine of 38.5 hp with ease it reaches a speed of 8.5 knots.
